DRAINED!

Dear Amelie,

You have been fighting with your first ever cold for a week now. A friend of mine used to say, "a cold lasts a week with medication, seven days without" :) In both cases you are nearing the end. So there you go! Mummy just found a little reason to cheer herself up!:)

 I'd had almost forgotten how a tiny baby's illness can drain every single drop of one's energy leave them feeling so helpless and useless! When you are screaming all night and day, I honestly feel like doing the same! But the worst of all has to be the physical and emotional pain of when you refuse to eat. The single most important thing you need to know about Turkish mums is the fact that we love to feed! There are not many things in life that would make us happier than watching our kids eat! So imagine how I feel!!! and if you are lucky enough to experience the excruciating pain of breast engorgement one day, you'll know what I mean!
